Last night was one of the craziest nights of my life.   all to often we as wiccans or pagans get to caught up in Ritual, spells, and tradition and often forget to pray.    as i said last night for me was out of control.  Something happend , and i needed everything to be ok,  I didnt have time to cast a circle , dance around the altar, light candles, so i simply prayed ,    this morning i woke up i got a call and everything for the most part had worked out.  i trust that the gods had hand in it, and i am grateful for that..   I like to think they are our Astral parents who bale us out when we cant do it for ourselves :)       anyways just thought id share.. MP 

THis is Random but I was looking for the Actual history on the Jacko'lantern LOL   the only history i could find online was this Lame Folk tale about a man named Jack o; lanterns who made a deal with the devil etc...  I know its roots are much older than that because i remember reading about it somewhere but cant remember where.. but if you know the history or a place i can go to and find it,, it would be a great hlp.. thanks :)

im sorry if i offend anyone but why is it almost all pagan youtube vids seem to be done by hibbie burnouts? lol i mean really i watched like 20+ vids today and all of them were starring these burnouts ...  some of these videos were kind of made me blush at the fact these people seemed to have no traditional valid knowledge of the wiccan religion..  not to mention what kind of Wiccan posts sacred religious Rituals on youtube??!?!    i guess i just decided to rant :p lol

I have an Assignment of making a powerpoint On the topic of World Religions...   I have been excited about it but now that i am almost finished with it i dont Feel As excited about presenting it... reason being is there was no way for me to Explain each And every major religion of the world>> its impossible.. I havent that much Indepth knowledge of Far east religions or Islam for that matter.. and i feel bad presenting Something to a class when it doesnt even Scratch the surface of What these other religions truly believe.. So how can i present Something dosent even reach my standards?     not to mention I believe to be able to explain a religion IN depth the person explaining Must have been a follower of that religion at one time...  otherwise i dont see how they could really Grasp enough understanding of that religion without Experiencing the Rituals and Actually taking part in it.. 

 

what am i going to do?    I have thought about just Narrowing it down to Wicca since that is the only religion i know in depth enough to be able to talk about..
